  27. Depends on the modem, but the answer is "probably not".  With the few modems
  28. that are capable of such things, you need specialized software running on the
  29. computer to support it.

  31. This is getting _far_ removed from the scope of this newsgroup, as KERMIT 
  32. does -not- have the functionality for supporting those kinds of operations 
  33. even given a modem that is capable of doing so.
